I want to wish everyone a wonderful holiday. Wow a holiday based on family and eating, life is good. We all have a lot to be thankful for. Let us all look forward and put the past behind us, it will make us all better people. I was sent this thought for the day recently and I wanted to share it with you.
"Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect; It means that you've decided to look beyond the imperfections".
Today is Wednesday, we will be closing at 1:00 and back to our regular hours on Friday.
I will be home shortly to make my house smell like the holidays. I will be making my pies and goodies. Yummy.

Be Thankful this Thanksgiving
This time of year is special. Today I feel that I am closer to what I should and will become in life. I have learned that I should not have great expectations of others, only of myself. I know everything comes to us when the timing is right. I have a chance to become a better individual, to give of myself. We all have many possessions, but to give is far better than to receive. So at this time of year, reflect on your actions, improve yourself, give of yourself to others. Think twice before saying unkind words, they hurt more than you will ever know and some scars can never be healed.
So ladies and gentlemen as you can tell, I am at peace, I am happy and content, life is good. I have so much to be grateful for. I am blessed with my husband Larry who is my sole mate and whom I truly love. I would marry him again in a heartbeat, with out any hesitation. I am thankful for my son Ian and my daughter Cara and Tim. I wish you all the same happiness and peace at this time of year.

Do An Act of Kindness Today
Good Morning,
Can I tell you I feel like I have been reborn, I am happy and content, I find myself smiling again if I were a cat I would be purring. I am taking my first two camera classes tomorrow. I will learn more about how to take better pictures and then to edit them in the computer. Who new I could get so excited about learning something new. Pat a student again, how cool. I am also thrilled to be helping and caring for others.
I have said helping my Aunt when she was dying brought back all the nurturing emotions and reminded me I have a lot to offer. I am a people person. I always new I was I enjoy I know I am good at helping and listening to others, to be a companion, to make an someone feel important, to hold there hand and just be there. In this day and age our elderly have become neglected. We find that our lives are busy and the old get forgotten and cast aside. I have been able to help a few others and it makes me feel good. It does not take much, a phone call, to stop by with a little treat, to sit and just give them the most important thing anyone can another person, our time, our patience and understanding. I feel reborn and enjoy doing this, I always have but I had forgotten about it. I let busy take over my life. The overall Mom in me has so much to offer. Our neighbor recently had to place her husband in a nursing home, she is lonely and I know the little time I take to stop and talk with her help. OK enough of my babbling, I just wanted again to remind everyone we have a lot to offer others. Open your eyes to life. Do one kind act today, open a door for someone, smile and say thank you and mean it, compliment someone, take a minute to listen I mean really listen to them. It will make your day and more importantly it may make there day too.

Happy Novemeber
Good Morning,
Well here we are in November, today is the 4th and we only have 51 more days until Christmas. Anyone who knows me well knows how I love the holidays. The year has flown by so quickly. What a beautiful time of year to be a budding photographer.
A New Change:
Our keytags, the white plastic ones will be discontinued as of December 30, 2008. So if you have one almost filled or one that you have been holding onto, fill them up and turn them in. Pass the word to anyone you know who does not check the blog or have emails please. I have told you changes are a coming. I will slowly be implementing them so as not to shake things up to much at once.
Life is busy here in the shop. I have seen more quilts finished in the last month than ever before. I see a lot of gifts being made. What a great group of ladies you all are. The classes are going well and we all have lots of laughs and really enjoy the time together.
Nancy's latest Jacket class is another big hit. Wait till you see the pictures. which will be posted at the end of the class.
Gotta run now, customers coming in. I will write more soon. Keep an eye on the blog for the latest updates and spread the word.
Live life to its fullest as you never know what life has in store for you. Reach for the stars and persue your dreams.
