Magnolias in Bloom

The Magnolia Blossoms were the largest I have ever seen. Some of the blossoms were larger than my hand. The colors and the scent were amazing.

I hope you enjoy my pictures.

Cherry Blossom Time in DC

The Cherry Blossoms were beautiful, with the gentle breeze the petals fell like new fallen snow. They smell was intoxicating. To sit on the bench and take it all in was breathtaking.

4/13/11

I cannot believe it has been so long since I have posted. Life is plugging along here. We have been busy. We just came back from DC with a camera club group of twenty on a world wind tour of the city. What more could you ask for, good friends, taking pictures and good food. We took the train down and got to socialize along the way. The freedom to get up and walk around and talk was nice.

Hello to those who have stayed in touch, I owe a card to one dear friend and will get it out this week end to you. The family is all doing well and we are in the process of making wedding descisions with Cara and Tim. The time will fly by quickly and they are such a happy couple. Oh to be young and planning a wedding again. We did go dress shopping and she found the perfect dress. I did not even cry while doing so either, but we all knew when she put that dress on that it was the one. Oh happy days are ahead for us all.

Time to head out to work. Stay warm and dry today if you can.
