Soldiers' Angels Workshop No. 1

Well, we had a very productive day today, thanks to a number of ladies who volunteered their time to help put together some quilts to be donated to Soldiers' Angels, which will collect the quilts and distribute them to servicemen in Iraq and Afghanistan this Christmas. Much applause to:

who all did terrific work sewing and piecing and doing whatever needed to be done.

Special thanks to Karen LeBlanc and Joanne Bellofatto who staffed the dreaded layering table and layered a whole bunch of quilts! Good job to everyone!

We have a number of quilts in various stages and will be tallying things up by midweek, so check back later to see how many we are up to.
