I know it's hot and you're probably thinking about the beach right now, but I thought I'd just mention something a bit cooler, Christmas. We just got in some new Christmas fabrics from Clothworks. They're from the Dear Santa collection by Diane Knott. Clothworks even has a free pattern based on them available for dowload from their website at:
http://www.clothworkstextiles.com/pattern_download.asp?ID=111
Stop by and see them. We're air conditioned and it's cool.
Craig's List
Ever hear of Craig's List? Know what it is?
I'd heard of it, but really was not familiar with it until this week.
We had an antique display case in the shop that was basically used as a plant stand, and we thought we'd try to find a new home for it. We first tried a used store fixture shop, but they weren't interested, then Cara suggested Craig's list.
We listed in online on Wednesday night - Free! Just take it away! - and it was gone by Friday afternoon, going to a museum gift shop in Attleboro.
I was really impressed. Check it out:

First Annual "It's All About The Bag Sale"
Just a friendly reminder that the Boston Area Shop Hop Shops (try saying THAT three times fast!) are holding their first "It's All About The Bag" Sale. Bring your green 2008 Spring Bash bag to any of the eight participating quilt shops and get 20% off all merchandise you can fit in the bag!
You must have the bag with you, of course. Don't forget that. The sale runs from Tuesday, July 15th through Saturday, July 19th!
With everyone getting squeezed by high gasoline and home heating oil costs, this is the time to save some money to keep you satisfied with your quilting habit!
See you at the sale and Happy Quilting!

Fun New Book Panel Quilts
We got in a new I Spy In My Garden Book Panel. I turned it into a great quilt top. Take a look and let me know how you like it.
I also got in a NEW Paddington Bear Book Panel and similar to my old one made it also into a baby quilt.
Lastly we got in a another panel for an Ecology Shopping Bag, I can't wait to make this one up too.
We're back!
