Compass Guild pictures from Friday, 7/11
Pictures from last night's Compass Guild meeting are now posted at the Compass website at:
A brief caution to the BOM members: The dark red fabric included in the baggie with July's pattern bled into my pre wash water. Just wanted to let you know before you sew! Sue
I wash my fabrics or even already made quilts in "Retayne". This prevents bleeding and sets the colors. It really works, even on red. Make sure to follow the bottle directions. Janet Corcoran
I am a Certified Nurse Assistant and a budding Photographer. I take life one day at a time and treasure each day as it comes. Life is short and needs to be savored. I was the owner/operator of Quilters' Compass, a full-service quilt shop located in historic Quincy, MA. I closed it in 2009 so I could spread my wings and fly. I feel like I have rediscovered life with this new found time and have the energy to enjoy life. You are never too old to experience life or change your outlook life or make a major career change.
